Winter BURRRRR!!
Record amount of snow this year and our yard looks like a white barran land. Dirfts everywhere.
Ensure that your horses get enough water during these fridgid times it helps them stay warm. To insulate your water trough you can pile snow or straw bales next to the water trough.
Free feed is best this time of year if you can get away with it. However it is not always the case, we have on on round bales and the others we need to hand feed from squares daily.
Check for scrapes and lameness due to slippery conditions too.
Spring is near.

www.horsesupplyandmore.com offers the best in horse tack prices I have seen in a long time. With group discounts and club discounts available via email.
Winter feeding of the thoroughbred is a tricky business. We have one border not that is a "hard keeper". We have found that supplementing his free feed with alphalfa cubes and canola oil has aided in his good health. He is gaining some much needed weight and looks great.

It is really hard to find good quality reasonably priced riding equipment these days. The beginner has to select from so much crap out there how do they know where to start.
With this in mind I created a web site that provides reasonably priced equipment for the everyday rider - from beginner to advanced.
I sure hope the site takes off and is able to help others get the equipment they need and still be able to enjoy the sport with a few dollars in their pockets.
My web site is www.horsesupplyandmore.com take a look and enjoy the savings,
KL
